The Wilds of Talandre expansion for Throne and Liberty is set to launch on March 6, 2025. This substantial update introduces a wealth of new content and features designed to enrich the player experience. Below is an in-depth look at what adventurers can anticipate:
New Region: Talandre
Talandre is a vast highland region comprising six distinct fields, including Quietis’s Demense, Swamp of Silence, and Black Anvil Forge. Players can explore three new field dungeons—Temple of Truth, Bercant Mansion, and Crimson Mansion—each offering unique challenges and opportunities to acquire Epic Level 2 weapons and equipment.
Increased Level Cap
The expansion raises the maximum character level to 55, allowing players to further develop their abilities and engage with more challenging content.
Weapon Mastery Revamp
A comprehensive overhaul of the weapon mastery system introduces a new layer of personalization. Players can now select nodes to alter or empower skills, encouraging experimentation with different weapons and builds to unlock special abilities across their arsenal.
Introduction of Nebula Island
Nebula Island is a new interserver activity accessible to level 55 players through the Secret Dungeons' Lawless Zone tab. Players can spend up to seven hours per week on the island, with additional time available through Nebula Charge Stones. The island features a central village and six distinct regions, including one peaceful zone and four war zones where PvP is always enabled. Hourly events, periodic field boss battles, and a new exclusive accessory system called Artifacts are also introduced.
Artifact System
The new Artifact system allows players to redefine their playstyle through unique skills with Artifact item sets. Artifacts can be obtained from Nebula Island and Abyss Dungeons in the Talandre region. The system consists of six parts: four Talistones, a Solar Stone, and a Lunar Stone, each with unique stats and effects. There are 14 different Artifact sets across three grades, with some stats being randomly determined upon acquisition. Players can trigger set bonuses by equipping matching pieces from the same set.
New Lifestyle Content
The expansion enriches lifestyle content by introducing 24 new fish species, four new fishing rods, a variety of new collectibles, and ten new cooking recipes. Players can also craft five types of Elixir items, enhancing the game's crafting and gathering systems.
Solo and 3-Star Dungeons
New solo dungeons provide players with challenges that can impact group or guild activities, offering an easier transition into more difficult content. For experienced adventurers, 3-Star Dungeons unlock at level 55 and require a minimum combat power of 3,500. These dungeons, such as Rancorwood and Halls of Tragedy, offer desirable drops like powerful Epic II Gear Sets and crafting materials.
Player Benefits and Events
To celebrate the launch of Talandre, new and returning players can claim a Growth Support Chest for free from the Special Shop. The chest can be opened every ten levels, from level 1 to level 50, providing rewards such as Epic weapons and armor. Additionally, a 'Double Up on The Leap' event will run until September 11, during which players will receive two reward chests for defeating bosses of 1- and 2-star co-op dungeons.
